A NOTE ON SHOE FETISH & BOOT FETISH PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH

I have a solid background in Psych and some history in going for a PsyD – the reason I am writing today is if you look up in Google research shoe fetish you get an extensive result that includes papers that read as if the researchers have little clue about the real world and the day to day sex lives of the people they write about. I am convinced that many so called fetishists that are in these articles, with the exception of those that exclude all other social contact, are overstated, exaggerated, and defy the test of reality and the statements used by narrow researchers are interesting at best but mostly lack the test of reality.   I have been in contact over theyears iwth perhaps hundreds of shoe fetishists both male and some female - it does not look like the articles in many research reports written by doctoral candidates with limited life experiences. 

As for shoe fetishes – so what, does anyone who does not have one really care?  If they do, why?   Is anyone who has discussed their fetish with their partner who accepts their passion hurt by these same passions?

Every hooker can tell you about foot and boot men that come to them because their wives narrow perceptions of sexuality won’t tolerate their preferences.  A fascination with breasts and rear ends is OK but a passion for lower legs, feet and shoes is not, really?  Why?  This is quite frankly absurd that far too many relationships are devastated that do not need to be because a partner enjoys a less popular body part or gets excited by an erotic pair of shoes or boots. 

There is hope -- one simple golden rule might end the catastrophe – tell your partner about your passions, early, clearly, explicitly, and in a way that they can accept and are not surprised later when you slide your member into a shoe and they catch you.  Most partners with an open mind can accept things they know about and can understand, or they can choose to move on. 

One simple truth exists, if are the one with the fetish they need to know because it won’t go away no matter which of those researchers try to talk with you and tell you it will. It is like being gay, it is hard wired.  the first time you walk into your partners closet and there is an erotic pair of very sexy Jimmy Choo knee high heeled zippered boots sitting there your member will become erect and remind you it is hard wired and you can't stop your passion and attraction, it is really only in a limited way controlable.  However, it is more fun when you build it in to a relaitonship with a partner rather than trying to just do the shoe.
